NAIDOC Week 2025
NAIDOC Week Opening Community Event Sunday July 6th
NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in July each year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
It’s a great opportunity for our Blue Mountains community to learn about and reflect on First Nations Dharug and Gundungurra cultures, histories and participate in the celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
This year’s dates are 6 to 13 July and the theme is ‘The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy’
All members of the community are invited to celebrate the start of NAIDOC Week on Sunday July 6th.
Activities are free but your registration assists with catering numbers and dietary requirements.
