Welcome to 2026 at Blue Mountains Theatre

We have an exciting lineup this year with something for theatre lovers, music fans, families and everyone in
between.

We kick off in January with Sport for Jove’s energetic take on Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors with performances in Everglades Gardens as well as live on our stage.

February features two standout events with the extraordinary supergroup Bleak Squad with Adalita, Mick Turner, Mick Harvey, and Marty Brown - followed by Tracey Yarad and her acclaimed, evocative music theatre work All These Pretty Things.

Families can jump into the fun in April with the Baby Dino-Mite Show, an interactive adventure featuring a
dinosaur meet-and-greet!

In early May, legendary rock photographer Tony Mott is dropping by for an in-person conversation, paired with his onsite exhibition Framed in Sound.

Regurgitator are also going to rock out with us in May on their Jukeboxxin’ in the 21st Century tour, followed by a run of Georgy Girl – The Seekers Musical presented by Blue Mountains Musical Society.

Looking ahead to June, Seven Drunken Nights return for their 10th anniversary celebration with The Dubliners’ Songbook, and the Sydney Comedy Festival will make us laugh till we cry with their 2026 showcase!

We’re inviting schools, educators and families to join us in September to help catch a bum-stealing thief in Tim Winton’s The Bugalugs Bum Thief before welcoming Echo Theatre’s latest theatrical sensation Bombshells – a comedy drama that strips back the masks we wear to reveal the things that sometimes we’d just love to say out loud.

A Little Bit of Blue invites families to an interactive environmental detective story, told with puppetry, followed by special Q&A and a hands on workshop with puppeteer Jenny Ellis in October.

We’re also overjoyed to host the Blue Mountains Concert Society in what is their 60th anniversary year!

All this and much more is in store across 2026 so book your tickets now and we’ll see you soon at Blue
Mountains Theatre!
