Local musicians aged 12–25 will be taking the stage at ECHO, a live music event celebrating local talent at the Blue Mountains Theatre + Community Hub on Friday 17 April.
Following a highly successful launch in Katoomba last year, ECHO now comes to Springwood, making full use of this outstanding live music venue, which has hosted the likes of Amanda Palmer, Henry Rollins and Regurgitator.
ECHO will give these young performers the opportunity to gain live music experience, exposure, and the chance to play in front of a supportive audience in this world-class entertainment venue. The event responds directly to feedback from young people who want to see more live music and opportunities to perform outside of pubs and clubs.
ECHO is a free, all-ages event in a safe, drug-and alcohol-free environment.
ECHO is taking place during Youth Week along with other supported youth programs from Blue Mountains City Council including Youth Expos at Springwood and Katoomba.
These events are supported by the NSW Government.
