What would you like to do to make the news? Develop a madcap invention? Break a world record? Discover a new civilisation?

Join Georgia Adamson for three jam-packed days of improvisation, play-building and good old fashioned fun as we build a news report like no other.  No experience necessary, just bring your imagination!

This school holiday drama workshop for children aged 8-11 years is presented by Blue Mountains Theatre.   
 

Georgia Adamson is a professional actor who has performed for many Australian theatre companies, including Sport for Jove, Sydney Theatre Company, Bell Shakespeare Company and the Ensemble Theatre as well as numerous television shows including Home and Away, All Saints, Love Child, McLeods Daughters and A Country Practice.  

Georgia began teaching in 2004, running workshops for high school students for Bell Shakespeare Company.  Since 2009, she has taught for Sydney Theatre Company on their School Drama program, a partnership program run with Sydney University that uses drama strategies to increase literacy outcomes in primary school students.  Since 2011, Georgia has run drama classes in the Blue Mountains, and in 2014 she founded Blue Mountains Drama.

Per participant $240.00 - Includes three day workshop attendance, 10am - 3pm
Age suitability For children aged 8 - 11 years
Group size This small group workshop is capped at 12 participants
Per participant if using Creative Kids voucher $140.00 - We accept the Creative Kids Voucher for this activity, valued at $100. This will reduce your fee to $140. See below for more details.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

Please read through the below information before registering your child for this workshop.

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, children are expected to be able to follow reasonable directions and behave in a safe and respectful manner. 
 
What to bring 
A refillable bottle of water. 
A packed lunch and morning tea.  Strictly no nuts please.
A big smile - get ready to have a tonne of fun!

What to wear 
Comfortable clothes that allow children to move around freely.
Enclosed shoes such as sneakers. 

Drop off & pick up 
Children will need to be signed in on arrival and out on departure each day at the venue.  

If your child is feeling unwell, they must not attend the workshop. 
In this instance, please call us as soon as possible to discuss your options.  

We accept Creative Kids vouchers 
We are a registered activity provider of the NSW Government's Creative Kids program, and you are able to use a Creative Kids Voucher ($100 value) towards the cost of this workshop.

If you wish to use your Creative Kids voucher, please select the ticket type 'USING CREATIVE KIDS VOUCHER' when registering, and be sure to complete the registration questionnaire which will request your child's name, date of birth and voucher number.
