New Screen Commissions from Sydney Opera House, with opening performance by Em Yali in collaboration with Emily Cooper and Janelle Randall-Court and closing Q&A discussion facilitated by Stuart Buchanan, Head of Screen Sydney Opera House.

Blue Mountains audiences will have the opportunity to experience a playful and provocative showcase of short films, commissioned by Sydney Opera House. Australian interdisciplinary artists explore their relationship with the screen, through themes of resistance, reclamation and renewal.

The event will open with a new site-specific work by Shortwave artist, Em Yali, in collaboration Emily Cooper and Janelle Randall-Court.

Following the screening, Stuart Buchanan will host a Q&A with Em Yali and their collaborators on the film, with refreshments then served in the foyer.
