Blockwork presents A Very Merry Dance Spectacular
Blockwork Dance Studios Christmas Show 2026
After the success of last year's Christmas Show, Blockwork Dance Studios is back at the Blue Mountains Theatre for A Very Merry Dance Spectacular, bigger and more Christmassy than ever!
Join our dancers, from our tiny preschoolers taking their very first steps on stage to our talented seniors, for an afternoon packed with festive fun, sparkling costumes and high-energy routines. The program covers ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro, hip hop and Irish dance, so there's something for every audience member to enjoy.
Our dancers have rehearsed their routines all year, and this is their moment to shine. Each class brings its own music, costumes and personality to the stage, with plenty of Christmas magic sprinkled throughout. Expect toe-tapping numbers, beautiful choreography and a few surprises along the way.
The show runs in two halves with an interval, so there's time to grab a drink and soak up the festive atmosphere in the foyer. We finish the afternoon with our end-of-year awards, celebrating the hard work, commitment and achievements of our dancers.
Whether you're cheering on a son, daughter, grandchild or friend, or you simply love live dance, A Very Merry Dance Spectacular is the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season with the whole family. Seating is allocated, so book early to secure the best seats in the house.
Performances will contain haze and strobe lighting effects
Blockwork Dance Studios is a Penrith dance studio, and a large number of our dancers come from the Blue Mountains.
We offer ballet (RAD), jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro, hip hop and Irish dance for dancers aged 3 and up, including our Dance Dance Dance program for preschoolers.
We're a caring, nurturing studio with a warm, family-style community where every dancer feels valued. Our aim is to build confidence, creativity and a genuine love of dance, and to support each dancer to grow at their own pace, whether they dance for fun or competitively.
