HUBBUB - Celebrating Community and Creativity in Springwood

The Blue Mountains community is invited to experience a vibrant day of art, literature, and local culture at HUBBUB, a free family-friendly festival taking over The Hub on Saturday, 29 August.

Bringing together the Springwood Library, Braemar House, and the Blue Mountains Theatre + Community Hub, the event promises a packed program of workshops, exhibitions, live entertainment, artisan markets, and a beloved Book Week tradition.

From 9:00am, visitors can immerse themselves in a range of activities across the precinct:

• Love Local Makers Markets: Browse a diverse showcase of unique, locally crafted wares alongside live demonstrations and free entertainment.
• Springwood Library Celebrations: Children and families are encouraged to dress up as their favourite characters for the annual Book Week Parade. The library will also host free arts and crafts activities and workshops.
• Exhibitions at Braemar House: Attendees can wander through the Sculpture Garden and view two beautiful exhibitions inside Braemar Gallery, featuring works by the Braemar Gallery Volunteers and talented students from TAFE NSW Katoomba Campus.

HUBBUB is an event coordinated by Blue Mountains City Council’s Culture & Community Services Directorate in partnership with Blue Mountains Community Hub.
